Applicants must hold:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>academic\/vocational studies completed over four years for Bachelor\u2019s program<\/li>\n<li>academic studies totaling:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>-60 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits \u2013 with a suitable diploma from a higher education institution with at least 240 ECTS credits to enroll in a Master\u2019s program;<\/p>\n<p>120 ECTS credits \u2013 with a suitable diploma from a higher education institution with at least 180 ECTS credits to enroll, in a Master\u2019s program.<\/p>\n<p>-appropriate diploma of higher education institution acquired in master academic\/integrated academic studies with the scope of no less than 300 ECTS credits to enroll for a Doctoral program.<\/p>\n<p>-a suitable diploma from a higher education institution with at least 180 ECTS credits to enroll in a Specialist\/Master\u2019s vocational program;<\/p><script data-noptimize=\"\" data-wpfc-render=\"false\">\nfpm_start( \"true\" );\n<\/script>\n\n<p>5. Must be in good command of English or Serbian language;<\/p>\n<p>6. All applicants must be in good health and produce a medical certificate not older than 6 months, confirming that they have notcontracted an infectious\/contagious disease and a negative HIV test.<\/p>\n<div class=\"75e963950f57b32357b1212d9d7efffc\" data-index=\"2\"><\/div>\n<h2><span id=\"The_World_in_Serbia_Scholarship_2022-_Fields_of_Study\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><strong>The World in Serbia Scholarship 2022- Fields of Study<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A wide array of study fields are on offer. Please refer to the list of participating Universities in Serbia document for available courses.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are strongly advised to visit the websites of the Universities of choice for more information on the fields of studies offered, eligibility,\u00a0 and admission requirements.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"The_World_in_Serbia_Scholarship_2022-Coverage_Value\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><strong>The World in Serbia Scholarship 2022-Coverage Value\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The World in Serbia scholarship 2022\u00a0covers the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Serbian language preparatory course (Serbian online course and Serbian language intensive course upon arrival in the Republic of Serbia)<\/li>\n<li>Tuition at basic academic or vocational studies, specialist vocational studies, master academic studies or doctoral studies<\/li>\n<li>Monthly stipend to the value of 15.000,00 Serbian dinars (approximately R2 240)<\/li>\n<li>Student accommodation and food expenses<\/li>\n<li>Compulsory health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Residence Visa<\/li>\n<li>Free verification of secondary and higher education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>N.B<\/u><\/strong><u>:<\/u>\u00a0The World in Serbia Scholarship does not cover the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Traveling costs to and from the Republic of Serbia<\/li>\n<li>City public transport costs<\/li>\n<li>Textbooks\/working material expenses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is recommended that scholarship holders, in accordance with their personal incidentals, have a certain amount of money in order to cover expenses that are not completely provided for by the scholarship.<\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Application_process\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><strong>Application process<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The nominating authority for South African citizens who wish to apply for the World in Serbia Project Scholarship is the Department of Higher Education and Training.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must complete the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development Application form, attach the required supporting documents, and submit it to\u00a0<span id=\"cloak968583a18fe05efe14b638996e5082bf\">Internationalscholarships@dhet.gov.za<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Compulsorily, applicants MUST submit these supporting documents along their application form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A CV with a motivational letter<\/li>\n<li>Certified copy of passport<\/li>\n<li>Certified copies of all post-school qualification certificates<\/li>\n<li>Certified copies of all post-school academic transcripts<\/li>\n<li>English or Serbian Language proficiency certificate<\/li>\n<li>Medical certificate not older than 6 months confirming that you have not contracted an infectious\/contagious disease; and<\/li>\n<li>A negative HIV test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>N.B: All documents submitted must be clear and in PDF format (no photographs of documents will be accepted).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span id=\"Deadlines\" class=\"ez-toc-section\"><\/span><strong>Deadlines<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The World in Serbia Scholarship 2022 application deadline is\u00a0<strong>26 January 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><u>Note<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em>: Please note that the above deadline differs from what is contained in the guidelines below due to the processing of applications and selection processes that need to be completed by the DHET as the nominating agency.
