The Limpopo Provincial Treasury aims to empower the local and provincial government to achieve sustainable service delivery, by way of sound public resource management and good governance, as well as good public resource management.

ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME \u2013 FIELDS COVERED & SERVICE CONTRACT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Limpopo Provincial Treasury bursary will be awarded to students in the following fields of study:
\n\u2022 Computer Science (B Sc)
\n\u2022 Accounting Sciences (BASc)
\n\u2022 Financial Accounting (B Com)
\n\u2022 Economics (B Com)
\n\u2022 Business Information Systems (B Com)
\n\u2022 Cost and Management Accounting (B Com\/ National Diploma\/ B Tech)
\n\u2022 Internal Auditing (B Com\/ National Diploma\/ B Tech)
\n\u2022 Information Technology (IT) (National Diploma\/ B Tech)
\n\u2022 Accounting (National Diploma\/ B Tech)
\n\u2022 Finance (National Diploma\/ B Tech)
\n\u2022 Financial Information Systems (National Diploma\/ B Tech)<\/p>\n

On completion of their studies, students must serve the provincial government\/ local government\/ community \u2013 1 year of service for each year of funding received.
\nShortlisted candidates will be contacted \u2013 if you have not received any feedback within 2 months of the application deadline, regard your application as unsuccessful.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
\n\u2022 South African citizen
\n\u2022 Reside within the Limpopo province
\n\u2022 Good academic record
\n\u2022 Completed Matric with a university exemption
\n\u2022 Achieved a minimum average of 65% if currently at university
\n\u2022 Studying or have been accepted to study full-time within one of the aforementioned fields of study
\n\u2022 NOT currently in receipt of another bursary (if bursary covers full costs of study)
\n\u2022 An active member of the community
\n\u2022 *Preference will be given to students studying at a local university<\/p>\n

Download and complete the Limpopo Provincial Treasury Bursary Application Form (.pdf)
\nSubmit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your completed application form (the submission of these documents is compulsory \u2013 if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):

\n\u2022 Matric certificate\/ latest results (certified copy)
\n\u2022 Full academic record if currently at university (certified copy)
\n\u2022 Parents\/ guardians proof of income (certified copy)
